Series: “Gifts of Being”
“Gifts of Being” marks a pivotal threshold in my artistic and personal evolution — a rite of passage from decades of emotional intensity into a new state of clarity, spaciousness, and presence. For more than thirty years, I lived under the constant pressure of corporate life, as CEO in Boardrooms, balancing demanding professional expectations, personal responsibilities, and the weight of deep feminine memories carried across generations. Burnout, exhaustion, and emotional overload accumulated within me like invisible layers.
When I began painting ( Mid- 2024) , each of my previous series — Raw, Earth, Blues, Spring, Liberation, N.36, Re-Inventing Pollock, Topography of Memories — became a process of intense release. They were cathartic works: dense, raw, visceral, chaotic, energic. My canvases held decades of unspoken emotions translated into texture, gesture, rupture, and matter.
Now, for the first time, I enter a post-catharsis phase.
A phase of purification, inner renewal, and quiet strength.
“Gifts of Being” emerges from this new place.
In this series, creation is no longer solely an act of emotional discharge — it becomes an existential offering, an act of generosity directed both toward myself and the viewer. The gestures, once urgent and eruptive, now expand and soften. Dense layers open into light. Textures reveal transparency, breath, and space. The palette — grounded in deep blues, luminous whites, and earthy tones — reflects a natural movement from the intimate toward the other and for the first time, feeling rooted in my “inner -self”. Vertical gestures remain, but they slow into a more contemplative flow, as if each layer were a gift released into the world. “Gifts of Being” is the moment I gave myself to art — not as escape, but as presence. It is also the moment when my art becomes a gift in return: an invitation to breathe, to pause, to reflect, and to connect.
This series is no longer about releasing pain.
It is about offering light.
It is my gift of being.
